One thing they could do is just pop up the login screen instantly and have an animation fading in with all the names for the credits for a few seconds and then fade out, that should be better IMO for keeping respect to the contributors.

ok i didnt know about that. sad that the option to skip isn't displayed anywhere. been watching this animation since V8 release...
