Weekly Competitions

Freestylers,

In case you can't donate and still want to earn coins somehow, we may have something interesting for you.
With the weekly competitions, it's possible to win 100 each in each category.

You can view the current rankings and last week rankings at http://fgunz.net.
Click the link at the bottom in the competitions block or go here in order to join the competition for the lifetime of your character.
From the moment you sign up your character, it will start to collect the data whenever you're playing in-game.

Every Monday at 6AM CET timezone, excluding September 7, the rankings will be reset and the winners will automatically receive their coins.

We have the following categories:
- most levels gained (if you start at level 1 and reach 99 and then rebirth, you can possibly reach nearly 196 levels in 1 week)
- most experience gained
- most bounty points earned (for both normal games and quests)
- kills gained
- amount of clan war contribution points earned
- amount of clan war games played, only when you earn contribution points
- amount of event points won in events

Just a suggestion.

When logged in, can you remove the register link and replace it with competition? Easier to find than just reading this:

Done.

Since playtime is highly inaccurate, I replaced it by the kills gained.

what if people abuse the lvls gained by keep makin new chars and jus questin to like lvl 30-40 and then deletin then remaking a new char and repeat etc

or is that not how it works

Only works for 1 character.

the only thing i think i could possibly win here is bounty lol 24/7 quest and infections XD!

Why don't you add anything regarding the forums? Such as most posts or most thanks gained?
(For the people who are more active on the forum but still play often)

The point of this is towards the people who can't donate, simply for issues like paypal not accepting their credit card/debit card etc. or Paypal not being used in their at all. Don't see a point for making it forum wide since we do have raffles (even though we don't have that many anymore) and there is still facebook.

I never talked about why this was implemented, I mentioned that some people who don't PLAY as often might want to be able to get something as well...
Also, the raffles are for everyone, again, I'm still saying that the raffle also gives people who barely play/active players a chance, so why not give the same chance to other active forum members? '-' Also, it's not "very exploitable", lol.

Just giving a descriptive background-supported answer to this question.

Anyway if you're not gonna play a lot (even if you want too I know I sound a bit harsh) I don't really see why we should be spread this to those who barely play. I mean apart the point is to get people to play a lot. I do agree on getting something for forum members who don't play much though. But this wouldn't be it ~

Is it possible to make an reward for the most played hours also? Because there are alot of active players here :o.o

No, GunZ doesn't log playtime accurately.

Also, we have a new function called 'Freestyler of the Month', and it is going to be implemented by the staff team.

It is to recognize those players that go above and beyond just playing the game for self pleasure, it's for those people that help others.
It is also to recognize people who do outstanding things, it's a wide spectrum, and reasons for the so called 'Freestyler of the Month' will vary each month.

Will have a thread dedicated to this new feature.

make new char>sign in to competiton>get to 99>rebirth>get to 99>198 levels

The "Experience" and "Bounty Points" categories have been removed from the weekly competitions and will be replaced by other categories soon.
The reason for the removal is because whoever has the most levels, usually has the most experience as well. Same goes for bounty points, whoever has the most kills usually has the most bounty points.

In case that's the case with CW points and CW's played as well, "Most CW's Played" will also be replaced by something else.

"K/D ratio" has been added to the weekly competitions.
It's calculated by subtracting your death count by your kill count. The higher that number is, the higher you are in the rankings.

So say I have 500 kills and 50 deaths, the final number would be 450.
If you have 100 kills and 0 deaths, it would be 100.

So that basically means the more kills you get without many deaths, the higher you will be ranked.
It's kind of a challenge but another fun thing to fight for.
