FGunZ Update // 28 NOV 2022
Hey Freestylers,

we have released a new update with requested changes and new content!

FGUNZ UPDATE // 28 NOV 2022
- Changes to V (Vanilla Mode): When V is used, HP/AP is now capped to 125/100 in GLAD / Glad DM / Glad TDM and 140/120 in other modes (to compensate for the high damage of guns)
- Elements now stack. So you can equip 2x fire, 1x fire + 1x cold, 1x poison + 1 cold, etc. -> You'll see the visual effects of both elements and also deal the damage/effects of both elements
- Removed Training Sticky Grenades
- Renamed 'Special Weapon Items' category to 'Special Items'
- Fixed order of special items
- Fixed CS Terror Male Avatar
- Fixed several bugs in Humans VS Infected mode
- Fixed several crashes when watching replays
- Fixed not gaining EXP in CTF
- Possibly fixed elo not updating visually
- After spawning, you will now start with the melee weapon in your hand (if you have a melee weapon equipped)
- The winner clan in CW should now be able to leave instantly when the game is over too
- Disabled 'M' opening mail system in-game
- Updated 'fail to initialize DirectX' error message to provide the most common solution for the user: 'Failed to initialize DirectX! Delete the config.xml file in your FGunZ folder and try again.'
- Added !qotd command (quest of the day) on discord
IMPROVED GAME BALANCE
- Reduced weight of all 'food' items from 4 to 3
- Removed the different clip sizes of grenades (lvl 1, lvl 20, lvl 40, lvl 60, lvl 80) of their type
- All grenades are lvl 1 now and there is only one clip size per type (clip size depends on the type)
- All grenades have 3 weight now (except for 1/2-hit-kill)
- Renamed Canox FG to Explosive Grenade
- Explosive Grenade has 6 clip
- Renamed Canox FB to Flashbang
- Flashbang has 6 clip
- Renamed Canox SG to Smoke Grenade
- Smoke Grenade has 6 clip
- Decreased Molotov life time from 8 seconds to 7 seconds
- Decreased Molotov clip size to 4
- Increased Molotov damage from 20/40 to 25/50
- Renamed Landmine LM to Mine
- Renamed Demolition Landmines to Demolition Mines
- Mine has 4 clip, 3 weight
- Demolition Mines have 5 clip, 3 weight
- Increased damage of mines from 30 to 60
- Canox EX (the explosive grenade that exploded a little faster than Canox FG and dealt little damage) has been renamed to Blast Grenade
- Blast Grenade now explodes instantly upon touching any surface
- Blast Grenade has 6 clip, 3 weight, 80 damage
NEW LUCKY BOX ITEMS
- We have added 4 sweet new legendary [S] shotguns (same stats as limitbreakers) to the lucky box.

Just realized that equipping the same element x2 does not deal x2 damage as it should. Will be fixed soon.

Also noticed, and not sure if it's always been this way, that if you equip lightning in your first slot then the enemy being massived shows the lightning effect. Whereas if lightning is in second item slot, you don't see the lightning effect and instead shows a normal massive animation. Not sure if the lightning effect is still being applied (tested with lightning/fire and fire/lightning so not related to double lightning) and it occurred every time.

Good catch. Fixed in next update.

Yeah the gap 6 to 10 seemed pretty unfair.
It's also much less weight now though (8 weight down to 3 weight).
You had benefits but had to deal with more weight - now you only have benefits.

The only thing I have to disagree with is the removal of the Sticky Training Grenades that you guys added in the first place, it was fun, now you guys removed the fun.
Why did you even introduce it in the first place if you were eventually to remove them like now?

We removed them because they were abused pretty hard in training and non-training rooms.

This almost looks like a buff to molotovs. U increased the damage while only reducing its duration with 1 second. Reducing its clip size is like putting a bandage on a severed limb, sure 1 person can throw less but there are multiple people throwing these things in the large tdm rooms players like to be in, they still have molotovs left to throw when the round is over. The range is too large, the damage from accidentally touching it for 0.1 seconds is even stronger now and 7 seconds is still too long. Reduce the size, make it easier to jump over (In the underground areas of garden its inconsistent) and revert the damage back or even reduce it a bit more.

Yeah there will be more changes to molotovs soon. I talked about it last night in the #suggestions section on discord.
