Error Report Invalid CRC

Hey,

Ran the update but wasn't able to complete the last patch. I tried to turn off my antivirus and firewall, but Microsoft Windows defender detected a Trojan on the update and won't let me download the last patch.

try deleting gunz.exe (not from the patch folder, but from the base folder), and updating again. If that fails, you shoudl find gunz.exe_ in the patch folder. rename that to gunz.exe, then move it to the base folder.

did you go into the patch folder? there should be a file inside PATCH called gunz.exe_. it says it downloaded, it just couldn't move the file.

I got this same problem, but it seems that it finds the patch after I have opened Gunz and let it sit a few minutes. Wierd afs

Turn off windows defender. For some reason it blocks the gunz.exe on your system. You can also go into windows defender settings and restore the gunz.exe

I checked, but I don't have a gunz.exe in that folder.
I have folders for :

Interface
Maps
Model
Sound

Those folders are also empty.

mcsic i think we're gonna need gunz.exe link to download it manually.

Solution pls. ^_^ :K

1. Remove everything you have
2. Make a new folder in your Program Files called Freestyle GunZ
3. Go to Windows Defender (or what Anti-virus you are using) and add that folder you just made to your exception list
4. Download the game and install/extract it in the Freestyle GunZ folder

This should work reading your post/mlog.
