YouTube has everything
Welcome !
Prepare to get smashed the first several months of your training
what are you training for?
Before anyone quotes me on being wrong, i'm also still considered a newgen.
Hey, i've been here for about 40 days and honestly i'm still getting smashed. I've had previous experience with the game prior too. Honestly you're gonna have to give yourself at least a good 2 months of practice before you ever feel good about yourself playing this game. Youtube has essentially everything. Learn to reload shot, slashshot and wallclimb then do them in training rooms till they feel like second nature. Once you're somewhat okay with moving around, stop focusing on movement and focus on shooting players/targets(like a light post) whilst moving around and wallclimbing. If you practice hard enough in about 3 weeks it should just click for you. Aim is the hardest thing to learn and it's the most important skill, since if you outaim you outdamage meaning you kill them before you dying. However aim is better learned with experience. So do as i said and for learning to aim, try to think about where the player can eventually move with his dash(his final destination/his next move). This gets easier to predict the more you think about it and the more you learn about the game yourself since you know what the movement is about and where it goes. Hopefully this helps you out. Remember, the most important thing is to HAVE FUN.
Enjoy your stay!
Also, make sure you change your keybinds to a more efficient and usable layout, since the default binds make certain moves impossible to do. some use scroll wheel, others use side mouse buttons/keyboard buttons. I personally use mouse buttons(buttons 4/5).
I've edit this twice already, but i should mention that you will probably get nervous fighting other players at the beginning, but that's okay. Just calm down and remember your training.
You gota learn how to shittalk to survive too. Learn from Lawri he's newgen but already a beast at it.
'Suck me"
"Sit"
"U suck kid"
"Rofl im not warmed"
"****ing new mouse"
"Lagged"
"Skype popup"
"Not even trying"
"Lmao u think i care about this game"
"its 2018 kid why u talking"
"Trashgen"
pick one, but never ever ever call your opponent better
you are the best
Welcome, have fun
Haha glad to see the community is here to help ^_^
Ok! Im learning really fast, and I have a few questions...
Ive completed a few of the advanced techniques and am now "mastering" them
Flash Step/Reload shot/Slash shot/Half Step/Butterfly/Double Butterfly/Triple Butterfly/Wall cancel
Im wondering, because I dont want to give myself faulty muscle memory..
Is there any advanced techniques I should not learn?
For example: It is said, that half half step is a more advanced version of half step...
Is there any times where half step would be more advantageous than half half step?
Thank you!
