since the old thread got closed i decided to create a new one so rate it from 1 to 8 or vanilla
SG1 = SG Spray Size 0.115
SG2 = SG Spray Size 0.11
SG3 = SG Spray Size 0.105
SG4 = SG Spray Size 0.10
SG5 = SG Spray Size 0.095
SG6 = SG Spray Size 0.09
SG7 = SG Spray Size 0.085
SG8 = SG Spray Size 0.08 (smallest)
SGV = Original, unmodified, vanilla shotgun spray
Don't forget about SGV (vanilla)

After some testing imo SG4/SG5 are the best, if its possible to do SG4.5 would be even more perfect lol.
i see a lot of people voting for SG5, lmfao its just gonna turn shotguns back to snipers, imo SG5 is already too tight and you deal way too much dmg from distance, please try to decrease the spread size slightly first and see if people are happy with that before you drastically change the spread size.
Even with the spread dealing way too little dmg right now, the cw's are in my opinion more fun than it was with the old spread because you actually have people rushing now and not just camp/potshotting across the map.
Sounds like SG4 could be a good middle way.
btw. did any of you guys test the 25 pellet spray? What did you think of it?

I honestly deliberate between SG3 and SG4, but I believe that SG3 would be better for this game. In my opinion, SG5 is a bad idea, and I think that it even shouldn't be taken as consideration.
About SGV, I believe it should be a room-tag for people who want to use it in Duel rooms, train their aim and improve their skills, etc. It shouldn't be the default shotgun spread tho.

I also don't mind going back to SGV as official, but the reason we stepped away from it in the first place was the amount of complains about the randomness of that spray, resulting in lucky/unlucky shots/pbs.

Most of the people that still play or have played are used to the original spread. I don't see a reason to change the spread once more.
I have played a couple of times on my free days, and I must say that the current spread is just bad or atleast feels bad compared to the original. On the original you could tell how many shots people needed to actually die in-game.. but now it just feels like a roulette, way to inconsistent with the dmg output. There are enough twitch clips that shows this result.
My vote is for the original, just to keep this game alive.
