Alert for In-Game Text Limit

Suggestion Type: FGunZ

Suggestion Description:

Make some sort of alert sound for when you've written as much text as you can fit in the lobby/in-game chatbox. I would also have it stop you from being able to write anything else once that limit is reached, similar to how other programs do when you reach the text limit (pretty sure Skype is an example of that). That way if you write something long and it cuts it off, you don't have to retype a bunch of missing words that you thought were gonna show up.

Yeah I do think it's annoying when this happens. Maybe a sound like the beep sound that happens when you or someone else types a message in game.

The only problem with your suggestion its spammers.
if someone decide to spam in the chatbox its will be realy annoying.

I'm not saying to increase the text limit. I'm saying to keep the same text limit, but to make a sound and have it so we don't waste the time writing words that won't show up. This suggestion is more for people who write a lot, like in clan chat or in whispers. If someone is spamming, odds are they're writing short phrases and just trying to get them out there as fast as possible. Plus it's not really spamming if they're taking all that time to write something out Kappa

I'm sorry that the "／人 ⌒ ‿‿ ⌒ 人＼" title didn't stand out in such an obvious way to me that it implied it would be a suggestion regarding text limit. Next time I'll be sure to check more thoroughly. :?

I like having a beep sound like when someone enters a message in the chatbox tho

The beep shouldn't sound the same as the beep when someone sends a message. It should sound distorted or something. Something like deeper pitched.
