Problems updating?

Hey Freestylers,

here is the next update!

FGUNZ UPDATE // 30 MARCH 2020
- Reduced EXP in Scrider CQ (1.2M -> 1.0M)
- Reduced EXP in Turbo / Team Turbo (100% -> 80%)
- Increased EXP in Gladiator / Team Gladiator (50% -> 100%)
- Buffed heavy ([H]) shotguns: clipsize: 3 -> 4, total bullets: 15 -> 20
- Buffed light ([L]) shotguns: -50 delay
- Renamed Repair Kit RX-5 to Ultimate Repair Kit
- Renamed Medical Kit MX-5 to Ultimate Medical Kit
- Removed Repair Kit RX-4 and Medical Kit MX-4, everyone that owned one of these have received a free upgrade to the Ultimate Repair / Medical Kits
- Readded & Rebalanced Pills and Vials
- Pills and Vials are not 'consumable items' anymore, which means you don't permanently lose them once used, they are like medkits/repairkits now (which means they are full again once you respawn)
- You can soon purchase Ultimate Pills and Vials at fgunz.net for a price of 150c each (limited time offer)
- Fixed the way the NG/NI/GLAD mods work so items aren't unequipped but ignored, also potentially fixed NC/NR glitch (these two mods will still unequip your clothes/rings)
- Fixed bulletmarks for ranged weapons such as rifles, smgs, pistols, revs when shoteffect is disabled
- Removed Anti-VM code (virtual machine)
- Removed quest clothing (which never worked anyway) and replaced quest clothing drops with hp/ap/ammo drops
- Changed Quest AI and CQ AI to old logic (except for Scrider)
- Added new Mythical rarity to Quest / CQ drops, extremely rare (1% chance) but even higher damage than legendary!
- Updated RPG Mode: you now have to press CTRL + [number] to upgrade a skill
- Added 'defaults' button for video options, which also resets gamma and camera distance
- Added new chat macros you can use, which are :hp: :maxhp: :ap: :maxap: :dmg: :ammo: :weapon:
- Added Teleport mode (as requested by skillmappers) (type /s to save your position, /tp to teleport to it -- I recommend setting these two as macros so you don't have to type them)
- Added HPAP % mode, which increases the HP/AP of everyone in the room by a certain % (100% (default) ~ 200%)
- Fixed killstreak-end-message
- Fixed broken signs in whisper and clan chats
- Fixed some automatic event descriptions and added new events to it (thanks to Relax)
- Switched the position of OK and CANCEL buttons on room creation because they were the wrong way round

They will only have +1 clip compared to the free lvl 60 one you can find in the bounty shop. Nothing else.

It does save the position but i think it'll be more comfortable if some kind of message would appear - "Position saved", for instance.

People that do this constantly would spam their own chat though at which point it could become more annoying than helpful. Because from a logical perspective, if you type /s or hit F1 (e.g. if you assigned /s to F1 key) you know what you just did - which means you should know you just saved your position by hitting said key or writing /s.

On that I agree, however as i mentioned it was meant for self comfort. (maybe you're not sure u saved, or whatever and so on)

Additionally, I just checked it and this mode works in competitive modes (glad, deathmatch) and so on, which in my opinion shouldn't.
Why? it's obvious, because for example in stairway glad people can abuse it to avoid death.

If you are talking about MGs for quest, we talked about it and we think they are still fine because you can get PVE MGs which do a lot more damage.

It's about rifles and X2 rifles. Those have such bad accuracy which makes them basically unusable. You can hit from further with a shotgun. If you really want accuracy like that then maybe just add in recoil patterns so that people can still hit shots after learning the patterns

Imo all this accuracy stuff should be removed and just rebalance all miniguns and rifles to do fair damage. Right now you either get lucky and pretty much instakill or do 0

I think rifles are pretty OP looking at their DPS and light rifles have a very good accuracy, too. MGs / X2 MGs and X2 rifles are not really weapons that should be used in all PVP fights, they're good for quests in close combats or when you have big targets. Light and heavy rifles (not X2) should work fine for PVP though.

Props mostly to McSic for hard working on the server the past few months, you've made a great development and balance.
I honestly thought that GunZ is a lost cause but you keep adding more cool stuff making old people come back, keep it up.

Props the other Staff members as well but Sic & Dave should be credited most for working with the messy source code of GunZ and keep making improvements.

I meant Jack Rifles and Fafnir, are they also not meant to be used in TDMs for example? They are really SLOW when it comes to shooting and aiming with them is really difficult.

Are you talking about Single or Duals? Also H rifles are different to L rifles, just like shotguns. I think the single Fafnir is fairly fast and accurate tbh.

No.. no.. no. Duals were never part of the original GunZ and they can't really be turned into something better than they are right now as that would make them OP and stronger than shotguns, V7 all over again. Dual Rifles also aren't really meant for serious everyday PVP combat. Single rifles are fine, you should try those.

I may or may not have abused those dual sprays in PVP.
