That's just absurd. We're not going to ban people from the section for simply not participating, and if they are flaming or whatever in the section their posts will be removed and they will be warned / infracted depending on the situation. If someone doesn't stop spamming / flaming etc in an event thread, then they will be thread banned. We're not going to ban people from a whole section.
