[Help - Other] Black Bars

This isn't really an error, and I'm sorry if it's not important. If I've posted this in the wrong place, please move it.

Anyway, I'm trying to get the black bars on the side of my screen and I can't seem to do it. I've watched some YouTube videos and tried some different things, but it doesn't seem to work. Please help.

I'm trying to GET the black bars, not get rid of them.

As far as I know the black bars only appear if you use scaling (width/height combination) that your monitor doesn't natively support.

Play around with the resolutions, shouldn't be too hard to get black bars, you could also try modifying your resolution manually from the config.xml file @ your fgunz folder.

It just stretches so it's always fullscreen. I've got my graphics on maintain aspect ratio. There is a mode where I can customize the ratio so I can make black bars on the sides, but then my whole screen is like that and not just Gunz, and I have to change it every time.

Have you tried changing the aspect via your VGA driver panel by setting it to only run gunz with the specified settings?
