Can you make it if you post an image link in chatbox it actually turns into an image instead?
For example an imgur link http://imgur.com/a/XRZ51 would just be a link and not turn into a gif

People can already post links in the chat, the problem at the moment is that they are not clickable.
His suggestion is that it will be a clickable link.

And we can always enforce a rule if this would be a thing with "too many memes".
I am just trying to think along the suggestion.

you can probably automatically resize them to an emoji sized gif, it wont be that large

also considering if 1 person wants to report another, and someone posted a 2000 pixels long gif, itll make everything disappear and unreportable unless you turn to forum mods
