    Hello everyone!

I have a problem with my spiking as it is said in title. I am active player so it annoys me. Last 2 years of playing I never had so big problems with my pings. Spike goes from 60 - 4000 and more. I am playing on wifi but router is in next room, not far. I tried to close my anti-virus, put on/off mode on my router, closed everything.. only Fg were working and nothing helps..so any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much!

This literally has nothing to do with spiking.
When you don't have network knowledge please don't just shoot for random things hoping that would fix his problem.

@OP, try to connect your network cable directly to your PC from the Modem, if you don't spike/lag once you do that then it's surely your router causing it.
You would either have to portforward / change ports or play around with WiFi settings, one that would suit best for your connection.
Also, if you're using 4G and using WiFi, that would explain your ping jumping as 4G on WiFi has really unstable speed connection.
