Final Fantasy and Guild Wars

Hey guys I'm planning on getting one these games in the near future but I still cant decide on which one too play. So I have a few questions for yall about the games. Hoping some of you guys can shed some light on.

Is FF 14s playerbase still good ?

Compared to guild wars which one is better in terms of gameplay and classes etc?

For guild wars, do you download the game and buy the expansion and thats it, or do you make constand payments?

Which game has a better story line and leveling?

Also for FF 14. Do you have to buy it and then the heavensward expansion?

Ye without doubt FF14, it looks amazing, plays amazing, story is amazing, the lore, characters, basically everything is good about it except that you get lost quite alot and there's alot of grinding. But you get to play literally any class whenever you want without creating a new character, because like other games, you can switch class at any time.

It costs per month, so you have to pay for the dlc then time aswell.

Guild Wars is free to play but it's boring af and basically pay2win, but you only pay for the game once, no monthly fee like ff14.

But I definitely suggest FF14 over Guild Wars.

FF 14 still need payment if its on ps4 ? I thought they took out the payment requirement
