Your friend is full of shit because it's "on the house" which is a thing they got that they give out 1 game for free every now and then. They also just mention Mass Effect 2 on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/OriginInsider/?fref=ts and on their homepage. Can't find anything about all being free either when I google for it.

I'm always searching for free games, I have an Uplay, Origin, Steam, Kinguin, G2A accounts etc and I check them everyday, but I never get my eyes on free games like this, do you have some kind of notifier for this?
