V8 balancing

With V8 getting closer i wanted to open a thread just to get some comments on what players might like to see or think would be interesting. Ill make note of a couple important factors that you will have to take into consideration.

Imagine that the IA tag is gone, but you can pick up ammo if you kill someone.

Also we have the ability to make individual weapons with an instant reload without using the R tag.

We the staff already have an idea of what we want to do. But id still like to hear other ideas.

There are some exceptions.

IA will be allowed for infection, training rooms and ET's will be able to make events with it.

Ammo drop would be off by default but as an option to turn on. That means it would be off for clan wars.
(That was always the plan)

That's why i gave you one scenario, to hear potential ideas about that scenario and what you think would be fun with the weapons in said scenario. Not to discuss what game types should or should not have the tags/options, you never had a say in that matter."

Before i worked on those extra features i worked on "fixing" the anti lead. I already know the reasons shots wouldnt register in certain cases. Also i made modifications that allowed us to re-enable the cross hair pick. Then i worked on the other little things. I dont share all the details of what ive done in the vip thread, just a broad overview.

Sounds good, pretty much like the beserk game mode where you get hp back.

Narrow minded, stay stuck in the past.
These guys are actually try to solve a problem a lot of people have been complaining about (removing tags won't solve it cause another bunch would complain).

Would the instant reload be something like picking up a reload spawn (like ammo, hp, ap spawns)?

and i agree with skull fix the anti lead before doin all this rofl you guys are spendin all this time on all this stuff that isnt exactly important when theres bigger issues that need looking at tbh the anti lead has never been great on this server compared to other ones its about time you guys stepped it up tbh and i would like to see you guys to add the xhair pick again but i already know that aint gonna happen but yeah

yh your right it may make the server different from the rest but you wanna know what else makes fg different from the rest ? the fact its anti lead is the worst one out of all the servers goin rn which i know isnt many but still if you really wanna do well and bring players here all these stupid ass blood effects and ammo drops and noises when you block and shit aint gonna bring em better anti lead is what this server needs and what will bring players you guys have never got it right since v7 has been released and i honestly dont think you ever will but you could atleast try i mean im playin vs people same with sunfire and half of our shots dont even do damage anymore like wtf is this anti lead foreal so you should focus on the big stuff before focusing on stuff that doesnt matter at all if you really wanna bring players in anyway

also i would like to see the server actually feel smooth and not oced like a m0ther fker that would also be great

-good anti lead coz this 1 is wank af and always has been
-smooth server no more oc sirs coz it soks dik
- xhair picks re added coz why not stop bein pussys

ok now do these 3 things and you might save the server if not it will be dead this time next year

p.s. idk about this ia tag refining but it sounds ok i guess dont really care for game tags but in general sounds innovative and I dont mind a change..

oh yh hope this drop ammo thing after people die isn't for all rooms without tags also cause in general I prefer the oldschool classic vannila gunz, hope this aint just in general for all rooms which would pretty much either have a 50% success rate either a hit with everyone or not..
