Sounds really great, but I do not know if people are waiting for it.
I would use 3 factions in this case.

Yeah GunZ started with 3 factions before it was expanded on. always the internal strife stuff Axium (The Empire) Travia (The Republic) and the Outlaws (Headache to the axium empire).

I think if you want a modern look at the same thing, Splatfests in Splatoon are basically the same concept. We didn't run the faction war every day, just keep it weekly or monthly so you can give the win alot of meaning when its a rare server wide event. then hand out special faction-only gifts for which side that wins. I was doing texture edits for sets back then so we were also making some stuff that looked like the GunZ concept art loading screens.

Everyone has different schedules and can dedicate a different amount of time so it's hard to say.

For my part, the forum is 95% done (just needs some minor fixes which should only take an hour) and the website is about 60% done (a couple of designs have to be made for a few pages, then I have to code it). I'm already preparing a lot of the code for pages that don't have a design yet so it will save me some time.

Also to those who are interested in the technical aspect of the v8 website, it will be using Vue.js (SPA) for the frontend and Laravel for the backend (as an API).

Tbh it'll get released when it's ready. Even Aaa gaming companies struggle to give concrete dates, so a bunch of gunz devs definitely can't predict the release date.
