    Hello all i came back to the game a week ago after 3 years cut i made a thread about it. Can someone explain me what is scrider please and btw i heard v8 is going to get the game to 300+ players is it right Dave? Cuz i really feel bad how the game since i left.

    This game is totally outbalanced. 195k for sucking sq. Try Zombie King instead, what do u get? Or a pg65 dungeon, what do u get? Yes, less than a sucking sq. Who in the hell is predicting this?

    Wonder if this applies also to some skill map textures n stuff that can be just done with xml .

    You know where to find me if you still struggle with some optimisations .

    I'm doing maps next, I am currently creating a script that will optimize them all without needing any interaction.
    I did find some maps with huge textures (7MB) that I managed to get down to 30KB in some cases.

    The .FGZ filesystem we (are going to) use already does some good compression so the filesize of the whole client will not be significantly less, but it will matter when everything is loaded into the memory. Loading a game should also be slightly faster.

    I've done xml optimizations for all maps and got rid of duplicate textures, while optimizing all jpgs and pngs we have.
