Observer on Steam, it's about a guy (playing as a policeman - you) who gets his fears hacked and you also mess up with people's dreams by getting into their head, pretty messed up game but I enjoyed it until the end.
If you're looking for something that's not casual horror, Observer is the game for you ^^

Honestly nothing good after outlast, Outlast 2 is horrible aswell.
Me and a friend keep trying on a daily bases to fill that empty void ever since we finished outlast but nothing can replace that game.

The only game i can honestly think of for you is Resident Evil 7, Which is at the beginning scary but further at the game "Sort of almost end game " it becomes grindy and not so scary anymore.

It's a really good game if you want something new, I played the living shit out of the demo and when it first released.
The lost tapes are very interesting too and they are also scary as hell!

But thats the only game, the rest won't be as good as the first Outlast.

Same, Outlast 2 is awful I don't see why some people think it's better than the first one
