    My question for you is; when and which generation will achieve photorealism realized in game systems like playstation and xbox so we can play GTA and other games with the graphics you see in the video here beneath.

    I personally think within now and 10 years, technology goes fast... so Playstation 6, maybe 7.

    mostly are overpriced and not available for a large percentage of the community.
    technology doesnt necessarily have to be there for things to take a turn towards mass production of photorealism in games and such.
    take for example the technology to replicate objects - its there, but it costs billions of dollars and therefore is not useful to us at the moment.
