It's not just about damage—not everyone uses pistols/revs or are comfortable with them. Shouldn't we be able to use any combination of weapons and items as per our preferences? Sacrificing hp/ap for it is reasonable.

You can always skip clothes and/or the melee weapon to use rifles or even machine guns. We still want them to be somewhat balanced.

People generally like the original private server meta, without the bounty system, gems, upgrades, weird recoil/spread, and shakes, great update, I hope some players return.

Just tested in game.
Massives on melees are clear again and the extremely ugly screen "ripple" from firing the guns is gone.

I still dont see the recoil as necessary, but thanks for listening to the concerns over the shake. I expected there was some sort of cross-wiring in the code giving the sword a recoil value like guns, but you were right they are separate.
