This is a QoL suggestion.
The shop search function is really useful, (props whoever coded it) and even more so now that v8 is here.
What we can already do in the shop and inventory screens:
- Filtering by name if you know what you want.
- Typing L or H to split weapons by power class
- Punching in a # to sift by Gem Lv or Upgrade Lv
(protip: type in a number or gem type for the search and it will carry over to sorting when you go to upgrade instead of having to scroll through random gems completely out of order with different levels)
What I'd like to be able to do:
- Find an exact replay
- Filter replays by character name
- Filter replays by game type
- Filter replays by date. (
- Filter replays by version (to keep only )
MAIETs replay name string has always been a convoluted mess to look at, it's not a whole lot better on FG and I really think if FG's search function was extended to replays it would make a big difference for those who have tons and tons of replays. The main coding legwork has already pretty much been done since v7's search function so it only needs to be ported over to replays.
This feature would benefit for people who name their replays too but dont want to have to scroll and scroll until they find what they want (aka. the same reason why the item search feature was added)
