    Hello,

Yes, clan war is a variant of TDM.
I say variant, because cws are overwhelmingly and predominately executed with only shotguns, making them equivalent to having an SGO tag.
And that is okay, but it limits the skill capacity of the players who participate in cw.

To cw, a team with similar traits is formed, with the common denominator being that the players are able to use shotguns.

By being in the same clan and after playing with each other, the players are able to adapt to each other's play style and rely on each other to win.

This is by essence what a clan war is.

In a regular TDM, where players are randomized, none of the aforementioned hold.
You don't have a team with similar traits.
You don't know the other players' play style.
You don't rely on each other to win. (Sure, team chats get spammed with "STICK", "STICK", but that rarely occurs.)

Regular TDM is a free-for-all, where you have to rely solely on your own skill level to win or stay alive.
If you are the only decent player on the team, you learn to 1v2+ and master flips.
When you are going up against sgs, sprays, revs, rocket launchers, nades, etc. all at once, you have to be smart and efficient.
Essentially, it's "noob" tactics at its best, and that make it extremely difficult.
This is far different from the scenario of sgs vs sgs.

    Notorious stated the following:

Here is where the logic is flawed.
A regular TDM uses several different weapon types: sgs, rocket launchers, sprays, nades, revs, etc.
The cw players will not be able to efficiently adapt and will die.
For instance, with rls, you can't camp corners.
With nades, you have to know when to dodge and switch to sword.
With revs/sprays, you have to take cover.

CWers will say they are able to do all of this, but struggle in regular TDMs. (As I have noticed of late.)

TDM is more skillful than cw.

Sure, the cw players might still win, but probably won't have a decent k/d ratio.

And that is when the crying begins.

I am active on the weekends, and play in the few TDMs available.
From what I've seen, cw players can't manage the chaos.
They become keyboard warriors and start to flame like crazy.

The cw players become so frustrated because they can't accept the thought of other players who don't cw, being equivalent or better than them.

That is when the hacker insults come into play.
I am harassed in almost every game I play by cwers in "top" ranked clans when I kill them.
    "Are you even legit?"
    "Aimfix"
    "I'm recording"

My response to all is, "Please remember to attach evidence!"
(Because deep down, I know they don't understand anything about what a hack is, and want them to watch the replays to realize their stupidity.)

GMs are free to check my account, my alts, check my IP, look at my FGunZ history, anything they want.
I have nothing to hide but porn on my PC.

This is why I advise for cw players to stay in the cw lane because they are having troubles surviving outside it.
And unlike regular TDM players who adapt, the cwers will flame to no end.

    - Mayhem

LUL TDM ***s thing that they are better than CW players XD.
There is a reason why this is an unpopular opinion. It's because it is a retarded opinion.

please stick to AnD, you wont stand a chance against a good 5v5 team on cw.

You do reliase that however yes a regular TDM encoperates other weapons which are usually unseen in the Clan War scene, but give a Clan War players from the top tier clans a revolver, spray or rocket I guarantee the Clan War players will win.

If what you are saying is true, I openly say allow everything to be used in Clan War and if what you are saying is true I hope that more players will clan war? You know the TDM players who think they hold some skill set, however I bet they won't because hand those Clan War players sprays, snipers, revolvers too I guarantee after 2 games the TDM players will just give up playing.

You're overlooking the fact that CW players often have to clutch games (which requires a lot more skill and strategy than 3v1ng some goblins in garden TDM)

Nading plays a big part in CW too (maybe not so much here though)

I am glad that you brought up AnD because even AnD is more skillful than a typical cw.
In AnD, you have an entire team camping in one area, often with sgs (lbs and lbx).
Every move has to be calculated, every corner turn calculated, every slash calculated.
Else, you fall victim to the spam and slashes.
Also, when a team camps a base, you need to be agile enough to enter the base and inflict dmg.

I am not surprised that you hate on AnD when you clearly defend inferior players who get bodied in them.
I also won't be surprised if you're complete shit in AnD.

Actually, players from the cw scene can't handle other weapons properly. They don't have the patience. I have seen them try and attempt to spray, rev, rl, etc. and immediately revert back to sgs. So that statement is not entirely true.

My point is not that cw players are inferior because of weapon choices, they are inferior because they are skill capped.
As I stated, in a regular TDM:
    - You don't have a team with similar traits.
    - You don't know the other players' play style.
    - You don't rely on each other to win.

Players in a regular TDM also have to clutch games. Games with 16v16 teams.
I find myself clutching in a 1v4+ situation fairly often.
Funny how you can call regular TDM players "goblins" when cwers struggle and flame the most.
Even if they are "goblins", the noob tactics are more difficult than navigating a straight up cw-style sg vs sg battle.

i was not trying to say that TDM players are bad, I called them goblins in an attempt to point out how you constantly brag about being able to clutch TDMs when it's not even hard, and of course CWers flame, everyone flames.

For the second statement, you should try playing a clan war against a half ass decent clan

You are the one who brought up the statement first about clutching?

    And for the third sentence,

Camp = Skill boys. You heard it here first. Please unistall.

Why dont u host an event with your TDM friends, like a 5v5 against good CW players. Use every weapon u like and see what happens randomboy.

Pretty sure Bar alone can rape your 5 man team with revs alone XD. Hell I can come back after 3 months and still rek you with revs.
