    So we are now a good few months into v8 and since the first initial drop of this version the Developers / Adminstartors have been ironing out a few creases into making v8 the best version of Freestyle GunZ, which for me it's pretty close to being the best it can be.

    I'll say what everyone thinks but they either don't care enough to say anything or just won't speak real talk, incase there's

    "Pretty close"...

    I say these words because a few more things need ironing out. Like what? Let's begin;

    Staff Team re-evaluation; (GM's)

    This is an example without me having to even say much as to why the re-evaluation on the GM part needs to be taken.

    So there was alot to handle It would appear.

    However 4 months since Zonestyle bothered to take an part in a report?

    I'm not sure what rules GM's have to obide by however I'm certain they must have a time frame as to how they should up hold their position or face being removed from that position. Just like how users "Resort", "Oink" were removed for inactivity.

    Zonestyle isn't the only GM inactive there are other's he's just an easy target to use since it's obvious how he's doing nothing whilst maintaining his role.

    Ommadawn & Taint would appear to be the only 2 active GM's out of the 5 that we have. (Taint stated Notorious is on vacation therefore he's a possibility of being active since looking at that Tournament thread he's shown activeness.)

    Christmas update;

    We are still running the Christmas update, is there anything new to come? Atleast remove the Christmas update from the clients GUI (Whatever it's called), the dates state Dec 22 - Dec 26, for me if I was a new player and seeing those dates would make me assume the server doesn't have any development which could potentially divert players away from the server (Nothing else needs to come with the update, just the removal of the "xmas edition" will do)

    Balancing;

    I feel that 2 Limitbreakers is too much, being a player who can aim I feel overpowered, of course if I'm faced by other with equal or better aim then I don't but I find being able to 3/4 shot players so easily abit of an annoyance, yes the "range drops" were annoying but they counter balanced the 2 limitbreakers, maybe consider a nerf on shotgun damages all together to counteract having 2 of them? I'm not certain what can be done with them but for me something needs to be done to take away the OPness of having 2 of them opposed to players have neither or just even 1.

    Hitboxes;

    Clan war connection;


    Myself and others have porting issues therefore come ClanWar expierence NAT ERROR issues with players, however in regular games we are able to establish a connection. Can anything be done to change the way Clan War creates a connection between 2 players to work how a public room would too? Port fowarding isn't always an option.

    Im all for nerfing damage in all weapons of the game, allowing for longer duels and what not.

    11 damage for 139/119 hp is also too high including the broken hitboxes

    I agree on all except the balance part, limitbreakers have higher dmg tho they are a 5 bullet sg , some other sgs are 6 bullets so its balanced pretty well in my opinion.

    Good points, majority I agree with... Sorry for my inactivity lately I've been on vacation like Taint mentioned and then missing my flight home delayed me further..

    Anyways I don't have any issues with the hitboxes but it appears others do, this could be due to them playing at another server alongside FG and since we use different hitbox type instead of a cylinder/box we make it possible for pellets to go under/over/inbetween body parts making damage/spread an either more RNG base, plus our hitbox scale is smaller than another server therefore aiming needs to be more precise.

    I pay attention to the issue more often than others because I rewatch my VODs pretty often, but yeah, this guy gets it. The new hitbox makes the game more RNG-based, which is not desirable for a competitive game. In such games the aim is to minimize RNG so that skill matters the most. Every time I shoot on this server I pretty much have to pray to RNGsus that my pellets don't magically curve around the guy, and that my shot doesn't miss due to me being unlucky, which is honestly extremely frustrating. I'm all for making aiming more precise, sure, but we should always be rewarded for that precision, now it just comes down to a coin flip. Shooting right now simply feels extremely inconsistent, don't know why you guys decided to implement new hitboxes, nobody asked for them, and the server felt better with the old ones. This doesn't just happen from long range, but also from close range.

    Creating two limitbreakers was a bad idea, 2x LB still feels very overpowered compared to the regular donation shop sg combo.

    Donator acceleration vials need a nerf too, been saying that since 2014, no idea how this keeps going under the radar.

    Well, the main problem is that they are adding and changing so much shit, while it's completely unnecessary. Most of the GunZ players come back for nostalgia reasons and then they see this changed game. Just look at that other shit server that just uploaded GunZ 1.5, even without anti-lead and have the same player count as FGunZ, guess why? Also you are killing a potential new playerbase with that lucky box, like who wants to spend 100-200€ for 2 Limitbreakers? You need to start listening to the community to make this server good again.
