Pardon my lack of knowledge on this, but do you think maybe it can be something being blocked in the files? Like maybe some aspects in the files of the games are being blocked by firewall or an antivirus program? I'm not familiar much with this but for my own experience if the game is blocking me from something it's my firewall, so go on firewall and make sure that the applications which are blocked are allowed on the firewall (for example like my launcher was blocked so I had to add that file to the allowed section of firewall).
