Do we want/need Event Team?

Well, seeing as how the major person dealing with it said he was leaving, I don't think we need it. Besides, its the Game Master's jobs to hold event's. If people want to hold event's on their own accord, they can. Bunnychaser holds unofficial event's all the time. We don't need an official team.

unofficial events are often chaotic >_> I doubt that an event team will do much if they dont have a GM or admin with them

That too. Without powers to scare people, they wouldn't get very far with official Event's. Better off just going back to the way it was, and if Dagger wants to host Event's, he can hold unofficial ones.

I have to agree, the whole idea bugged me in the first place.. you can always hold events you don't need a special team for it imo.
and after all the new official GM's are coming soon, and i'm pretty sure they will host some events.

Dagger was the straw that broke the Camel's back I suppose. I would create it too after being asked to multiple times by multiple people.

Summary of my feelings: Until I start seeing some creative and different events, yes, we need an Event Team. If a GM can actually think of something besides LMS, Manhunt, HnS, or something, okay. But seriously, I've seen nothing but GM Killing Spree events.


P.S. Before you jump to conclusions again, yes, I can get in them. I just don't think running away from people is a good use of my time.
