Try turning off your anti-virus software and adding gunz.exe and launcher.exe to your firewall exceptions list then run the launcher as an administrator.

did u try deleting ur config

Happened to me once. Other simple solutions such as after a failed attempt at launching, try restarting your PC / modem it worked for me.

I could help you via teamviewer but I'm 99% certain I'll just find an AV which has to be turned off / fgunz added to exceptions. It's the same in 99% of these cases.

fixed by MCSIC in teamviewer by downloading updated gunz.exe from another place that is not the launcher thanks alot!

Yeah unfortunately it seems to be an external firewall by DanEditsHD's ISP blocking it.

For anyone else: If your launcher fails to update gunz.exe and you cannot fix it, you can try to download the latest gunz.exe here: http:// and put it in your fgunz folder.
If your browser blocks the gunz.exe download, you can download a zipped gunz.exe here: https://puu.sh/Cz6jq/75c461402b.zip (unzip it and put it in your fgunz folder).
