how about a modifier that stands for percentages like [SGS100] where SGS is shotgun spread and 100 is the % of spread when 100% is the vanilla that was the original, and 0 being static?

Eh sounds a little crazy, but it's easy to do.
1% would mean it's like a sniper though lol.

Would probably be better to turn that around and do [SGS] for static and [SG1 up to 50] to make it 1-50% tighter (more accurate).

That will just lead to more inconsistency. Players already seem to find a significant difference between the original spread and 20% reduced spread, so how do you expect everyone to just adjust to different values each time? With the current state of the server, whatever setting the only active room has will end up being the norm -- there will be no other choices. I feel it's best to simply test a set of spread values and find some common ground (not that anything is wrong with the current one, imo).

You also have to keep in mind that clan wars/duel tournaments will always have a static value, so it's not reasonable to expect players to play with different kinds of spreads and be comfortable with all of them.

    Go make your own poll

It seems like this one was pretty clear.
We're changing them back to 20% increased accuracy, we will see if you like it.

The majority decides and shapes the game.
