It's no surprise that GunZ has had a decreasing player count for the last couple years. This was inevitable and was expected. What's a surprise to me, however, is the community that's faded along with it. I come on here every couple weeks/months and I see that no one's sparking any discussions. The last thread in the debate section was posted a year ago. It's been an entire year since that section was last active.

What made this server fun in the first place was the community and if that's gone, what's going to be left of this place? No one's encouraged to come back to a place where conversation doesn't happen.

The main message that I'm trying to get across is intended for everyone, including the owners: If you're okay with eventually giving the server a final farewell then sure, I guess carry on proceeding the way things are going. If you want to preserve the longevity of the community, try to encourage conversation. Motivate people to want to come back to this website. If this game was the initial reason people came to this site, make them want to stay for something else. It's amazing that we have an active website in which hundreds of people visit each day, from all over the world. Recognise the fact that people are coming back for more than just the game and capitalize on that fact.
