Let's be honest these top 3 players deserve Elite just like every other Elite, they deserve it even more than some Elites we had

So is contribution to the server only now considered for non-ex staff, when the playcount is low? its like rewarding people for doing almost nothing compared to what other people did when the server was more active with like 3 full dodgeball rooms, before keeping track of their 3+ hours/day activity was a thing...

The old system worked differently so it doesn't mean that these users literally played 3 hours every day, one could have had 700 AP (play for 2 years) and then not play for 150 days (not play for half a year) and still have 550 AP.

Yes that is correct. You need to be online for 3 hours and also need to gain some EXP or get some Kills.

Edit: I read to fast, so lets say I play for 15 minutes get some kills and go afk for the remaning time, does it still count?

Depends on the amount of kills/deaths/exp earned and such. Yes you can sit in the lobby, it still goes towards play time, but it also checks that other stuff, so you have to play - how much exactly we won't tell.

So yes you have to be online for 3 hours but you don't have to play for 3 hours.
