If it still doesn't work then you should try to move the FGunZ folder to a different place like D:\FGunZ\ and add that folder to the avast exceptions. Then run the Launcher.exe as Administrator.

It could be that you are missing rights in the directory it is in right now or the long folder name screws it up.

tried the game after the update and the balance seems good but the only thing that bugs me and a few others i played with today was the movement, feels very heavy and not very fluent

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean Archetype? (Check Options -> Video II -> Archetype)
