I've loaned my brothers laptop. When I try to play fgunz on this, the fps is locked on 60. I've already changed it in the in-game settings to 333, however though it remains locked on 60 in-game.

Already tried disabling v-sync through the nvidia control panel, updated video card drivers but it doesnt seem to have any effect.

Also chose to boot fgunz with gpu

Anyone ran into this issue before ?

My fps does this when it's unplugged from power. The power settings make it lock to 60 and when on lower battery 30.
Perhaps it could be a similar issue ? Check the power saving options and performance settings.

Still sounds like some kinda v-sync doing it. Are you running the game in fullscreen?

yes, full screen. I have also tried disabling v-sync entirely in nvidia global settings, rebooted but still same issue.

I agree tho it still sounds like v-sync somehow, it doesnt go above/below 60

    Solution:

Go to your fgunz folder, rightclick gunz.exe -> features -> compatibility and check "disable fullscreen optimization"
