Just downloaded this game but I was stuck at the start screen giving me this error.

Anybody knows what's the reason this error came up. I have disabled antivirus and firewall.

Invalid CRC or read-only errors are always caused by either an anti-virus, Windows Defender or not running the launcher as administrator (right click > run as admin). Sometimes anti-virus software still blocks stuff when it's disabled and you must add exceptions.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.
