The most common causes are:
1. Anti-Virus
2. Firewall
3. Blocked ports
Add gunz.exe to the exception list of your anti-virus software and allow it in firewall. You should also try port forwarding, as your router could be blocking ports. Some people also fixed it by restarting the router.
