which is why there arent events 24/7, but when there are, you as someone whos hosting would appreciate if players joined.

I definitely agree with Bram. That way of announce is pretty normal. If there's gonna be a choice to disable it from Options, so be it. And I witnessed a lot of times few people join more after the 2nd call cuz sometimes people don't see the first announcement.

And if you are an active player in fgunz you would already knew which modes (Events, Training, TDM, Glad ) are played at most by the community and how events are loved to play by a lot of ACTIVE players.

Might wanna add a check box for Event team and Game moderators.
Usually game moderators announce cw and such, Doubt people want to miss that.

Ok... So I was thinking that announcing 10 times more isn't bad. You see guys, when a user just logged in and he/she doesn't know that there's an event on going, a second or third so in and so frth will let him/her know.

(Some will say, :check the event channel if there's an event, no need for that retard opinion/suggestion.)
