    This spawns the bot at the same location it was recorded, but the player will still be at a pseudo-random distance from the bot unless you put yourself in an exact position that can be reached consistently, like a corner. It reduces the desync, but still snowballs.

    Server-Sided training bot update! It's finally coming after 2 years!

    The next big direction the training bots are taking is customizable and modular AI.
    I'm planning on embedding a variant of luaJIT into FGunZ, which would make it possible for all of us to program their own distinctly intelligent AI script. Keep your scripts private to maintain an edge over others, or publicize them for glory. Your choice.


    • Incremented bot version to 1.1 alpha.
    • Added server bot spawning with random cosmetics.
    • Added server bot despawning.
    • Added server bot basicinfo.
    • Combined basicbotinfo packets.
    • Added server bot weapon loadout switching.
    • Added server bots displaying their owner's ping.
    • Changed dynamic tick rates to consider bots.
    • Changed server bot to not include "_bot12345" in their names for staff bots.
    • Added "/bot ignore".
    • Removed "/bot nuke".
    • Fixed "/aa god" giving bots godmode.
    • Fixed crash when server bots are ghosted.
    • Fixed crash when server bots are lunged at.
    • Changed "/bot trail" to be ice and increased size.

    It would be neat for someone to take anothers recording and place it in their own bot replay folder to practice against another players bot in your own room rather than fighting yourself. Example, me recording myself, at which im not that good anyways, wouldn't be... helpful? Just a thought that crossed my mind when i was trying it out.

    Yep, you can already do that.
    Ask them to send you the .fgb file over Discord or something and place it in your BotReplay folder.
