Remove flash grenades

Suggestion description:

Remove the flashbangs from the game, no1 uses them other than to troll and it's annoying for the other people in the room.

edit: same thing goes for stun nade/stun nade launcher

I disagree, it is part of the game like smoke grenades *remembers it gave people FPS drops*.
Personally I like the see people get more diverse with flashes, smokes, nades and what not.

yea but with smoke nades u can't fk over your own team, so would it at least be possible for the flash bang to not affect your teammates?

I could get behind the idea of it not affecting allies.

but what you personally would like to see doesn't change the fact that no1 uses it and that it's literally only used to troll other people.

Otherwise I think that the flash should be changed to work more as it does in counter strike, and why does the ingame music start playing while you're effected by it?

Just checked and it now gives only a beep for me (with the background music ON) and it lowers the background music while 'blinded'.

Actually surprised how short the full white screen moment is, always though it was longer.

I have turned off music ingame but a flash makes the music come back, so not only do you get the annoying white flash but you start hearing the annoying music in for the duration. As soon as the flash is over the music stops

Interesting, guess I have to check that out again and ask around why it does that.. might be hardcoded.

This has been done in the upcoming patch

i really don't think they're creating any diversity in this game because no one wants to use them unless it's for trolling purposes as everyone already said. whether they "belong in the game" or not is debatable since i don't think they fit... but if we're keeping them, i think they need a rework where they don't affect team mates... i'd also (personally) appreciate it if they had a changed visual and audio. the sound they make hurts the hell out of my ears lol, and maybe if it wasn't a pure white screen but rather a white overlay that dims what you're able to see if that makes sense.
