I don't want to step on anybodys toes here, but if you think wearing a whiteset is a fashion statement you're out of your ****ing mind. Wearing the all the most covering and white items isn't to look good, its to blend in or to be hard to spot. I doubt anyone actually wears a whiteset because they think it looks good for it is as much of a fashion statement as wearin a white T-shirt.
There are real advantages to banning hardly visible sets. It raises the gameplay to a higher standard and provides both the players and the viewers of the tournament a better experience.
I think the only debate to be had is whether we should have a "tournament set" or if we should have a list of banned items
Also if you think we are trying to gatekeep players from entering the tournament, I'm 100% fine with people who wouldnt participate because they couldn't wear certain items didn't get in, since the spot would go to someone who's actually interested in playing.
