uh for finals/semi finals it was usually BO3 i think???
Otherwise its just BO1
And they were for 20 round games
edit - on the topic of improving tournaments, I don't think seeing how much damage you do as you play each round and seeing the enemy's hp when u die is something that should be used for tourneys??? Or even in cw. But to see it in a replay would be fine, or to see dmg at the end of the round instead.
