He's not bad at Yo-yo, which I have a terrible time with.. So give him credit for that. But, he's got an obvious weakness, that I've picked up after just watching the single D-style video on his Youtube: He moves too heavily on moving left. You'll notice that he moves right, every so often, and he can easily give the excuse "I was only showing left for the video!" But, you'll notice that he also shows a few moves when he's going to the right, and he doesn't move as far to the right as he does to the left on those moves.

You're pretty much right. Using the basics of D-style, then learning to apply them on each situation, and adapt to each one, in response, is a lot better than learning a few tricky moves that prove you can practice the same move over and over again until your fingers bleed. Honestly, I never had much cared for special moves, outside of certain basic and/or basic+, and I used to be considered one of the top D-stylists on this server.

Think effectively and strategically, and you can defeat almost any foe.
