    If people click continue without reading anything then a second popup will not make a difference.
    It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
    I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.

    Then force the user to read the initial popup, e.g. via a input box that requires the player to type something in like 'OK', or the character name. Lots of sites do this and it works quite well. It's not fool proof and people will still make mistakes but it's a start.
