[Help - Launcher] Can't open launcher after patch

Hi!

Since the patch I haven't been able to open the launcher. / get in the game. When trying windows presents me with the following message:

This happens with the standalone version (my existing one and downloaded a new one) as well as the install (reinstalled this as well) version. Both of these versions are from the Google Drive link.

I did notice that updater.exe / the PATCH folder don't get deleted. That file isn't there when I freshly extract the folder downloaded from fgunz. This made me think maybe it was a permission issue so I tried again with UAC off entirely and plus running it as admin but nah. :/

Have tried multiple times on standalone and installer, along with power cycling after the update's done it's thing. Also went ahead and repaired vcredist_x64 but that wasn't it.

Tried checking if either the launcher.exe or updater.exe were still running and keeping the files hostage but they aren't.

Lastly tried checking if my permissions to the file/folder got magically taken away but have full control there as well: https://i.imgur.com/dX344sZ.png

I'm probably the biggest idiot alive and missing something but I can't figure it out rn. Pls help :D
