    Forum/FGunZ/Other

    Suggestion description:

Suggestions from Damp, since there is an influx of new players joining Freestylers Gunz, it would be nice to have a channel dedicated to beginner players (maybe only newly created accounts can enter - or playtime limited) and a training program where they have tutorials that teaches the absolute basics. Be it wall run, slash climb, etc.

it doesnt even have to be a beginner ch as it may be hard to offer them guidance and tips since most players wouldnt be able to enter. But some kind of tutorial i think would be nice. Seeing too many new players wander into a duel match and go 0-50 get discouraged and just hop off lmao.

didn't realize this was suggested before, but it was 4 years ago so I don't see an issue rediscussing it. I believe what stephanM was saying in that post was a practical thing to add. Yea there are youtube videos, but that's for when you're looking for specific moves and have some concept of the game and what to even search up. A quick tutorial ingame showing dash/climbing/rs/bf, or even some kind of tip feature

Oooo nice. A tutorial mode is a good idea for the training bot.

Moving this to To be added later. Unfortunately a channel dedicated to newly created accounts will not work out. However, Frooples has begun working on the functionality of a bot teaching players how to play in training rooms (in-progress) via /bot teach, see his Training Bot Blog for more information.

    Spoiler!
