    Suggestion type:
    FGunZ

    Suggestion description:
Add an option to display Average APM (Actions Per Minute) and Current APM.
The code for it is pretty much done; The question is, should it be added?

APM is often referenced by professional e-sport commentators in high intensity games like Starcraft II. I thought it was kind of weird that GunZ didn't have one too.

Also, I was curious what my average APM was (it's about 430).

I personally don't feel like it's needed and I dunno how many people would use it but I don't mind, could be toggled in options.

Let's say it might distract me while playing and I can turn it on and off in options.
Can it be shown in replays as well?

I would support this suggestion, if people have the option to view their APM they can also boast about it which can later lead to perhaps some sort of advertisement of GunZ requiring high APM which could also intrigue new players to try out the game.

    Spoiler!

The visual style isn't finalized, it could be simplified to look like the fps display or something.

Showing APMs in replays is possible, but not feasible. The current recording system for GunZ in general doesn't record actions specifically (I.E. Jump, Forward, Attack), but rather the aftermath of an action. I would have to create a new version of a recording file and constantly log the APM of all players in the room to it and make sure the correct APM is showing when the observed player is changed. Let's see how much demand there is first.

This is a very good suggestion. I support +1

Would be very interesting to see the apm of different moves, skillmaps and such and if its already coded then its a no brainer

absolutely yes. the position needs to be moved around a bit buttttttttt
just saying the potential for macro detection on this is pretty big if it updates instantly and i would also like this in the speedrun gamemode
