Honestly I don't remember why it got declined, I don't see any real discussion about it and I know it has been suggested many times before, it should be a thing tho.
My question is, would it ignore a specific character or all of the characters in that account? I guess it would be better if it ignored all of the chars in that account.

Dunno, was brainstorming, that suggestion is from 2015.

Now I would suggest to make the ignore function work differently but I'm sure Sic will think of something.

Being able to ignore all the characters on an account would be easier, but being able to see every character that account has might become problematic? Players that have alt charactesr that they play in secret for whatever reason can now be easily exposed if you ignore all the characters on one account.
So I think it might be safer to ignore a specific character.
