I see this as being a better addition to the game than archetypes. This is because any archetype makes this game look as old as it really is (2003), and thats not what we're striving towards. If the implementation of this feature is not as hard, it can enable players to continue not using archetype, enable lightmaps, and not be hugely disadvantaged just because someone decided to wear white clothing, which are free for all to use.

In valorant, players seem to blend in much better in the environment, so it makes sense in a game like Valorant. No support.

I don't personally agree that blending clothing should be a valid strategy to make yourself harder to aim in a game like Gunz. In this game, your movement is what makes you hard to aim, and not what you look like.

a certain place that has a ladder mode akin to cw literally uses this feature (and is widely used by its players) so im not seeing your point and talking about visibility while we have floating damage numbers that track players behind obstacles is kinda funny

Why so negative? It's not like you're going to code it or a task that will be assigned to you.
Refer to Bunny's post, it's a pretty good explanation why your post makes no sense, be thankful that Sic is still improving GunZ' spaghetti code, this ragdoll overlay would be a pretty nice QoL, I see no reason why it shouldn't be implemented just because "archetype" exists.

You guys acting as if you all are invisible when wearing "camoflage" while you guys dont realise that you always seen. The Maps are all static, there is barely any movement except for You the Players. You could argue that the crosshair placement might be an issue here but you could also argue that its a Quality of Life improvement to both ends here. Visual Clarity is a must have in every game. You won't lose your round or your game/cw because of your thin red outline, Gunz is still a high skill capped game the only reason you would lose in such a scenario is because of your lack of skill.

Spare a thought for the new players that joined the game. Such suggestion may help them to see how opponent moves, and they can train better, so why not?

We don't need anymore ways of assisting in players visual advantages. Arechetype is enough. Actually archetype was intended as a way to assist players with lower performing PCs, not to give them visual advantages.
