    im thinking in terms of adding 15hp, using regular pistol, so if player shot anyone with it it's like adding hp, it should be able to heal enemy too because it requires the whole friendly fire stuff, might as well just heal everyone.

    maybe the healing animation the red glow can be turned off, avoid lag and stuff,

    i think it would be fun to add the equivalent of a sniper that heals teammates
    like medic crossbow in team fortress

    If somehow this does get added, please make sure it can heal enemies as well.

    Both suggestions got my +1

    @Desecration, your suggestion isn't a good one, why would they make the healing functionality for the enemies as well?
    The role is meant to be a support for your allies, not the enemy, lol..

    Because it would be too easy to have one guy sit in the back spamming pistol heals. Making it so that it heals enemies also makes it so that players actually have to aim well to heal their team mate rather than relying on blindly shooting.

    Here's how to fix that issue so it's not OP in terms of healing.

    ~Reduce the movement speed of the healing gun carrier by 80%
    ~Add additional range of the gun dart (optional but still good to consider)
    ~Add a 1.5~2s delay after each shot taken by it.

    Problem solved, that way support will be support without being OP and vulnerable at the same time, having those additional changes added will consider players when and how to use it tactically as well as for the enemy on when to push and when not to pressure considering those changes.

    When I came here to suggest that the darts should follow gravity, it hit me that this suggestion seems more and more like an old suggestion I made to simply make a medlauncher like we have grenadelaunchers, but with a couple more steps for balancing;

    Movement speed reduction, delay, weight, etc.

    Shit, if we get a med launcher then we need a flash and smoke nade launcher also.

    Ok, I like the idea of that in terms of balancing.

    borderlands 1 defender class has a shoot your teammates to heal them perk. Pretty busted combined with the AOE healing perk, especially if you use a shotgun. Or one of those shotgun revolvers at a distance.
