I don't find that to be a compelling argument given that nobody has reached the skill ceiling in this game.

Good idea - but that would cause it to be nearly invisible near the end of its lifetime but still grant you a full massive, so it could be rather confusing for yourself and your enemies when you barely see the massive charge anymore but it's there. (I tested it)

What if it looked the same, until the very last second - and then it would rapidly start to disappear, but not instantly? Animation wise, its much smoother than the abrupt disappearing of the massive. It could also apply to block-charged massives, but for the last 0.1 or something much shorter, instead.

Change the color of the massive when it runs out, like turn it red 3 seconds before it ends.

Moved to Have Been Added, due to the latest update (24 JULY 2023).

The timer doesn't change color when it is running out if enabled (in your video IV options).
