Im coming back to gunz after like 10 years and its the first time im experiencing anti-lead. Im wondering how people like it in 2023 compared to leading. Also has it ever been considered to lower the damage of shotguns to compensate for how quickly encounters can end with anti lead?

I believe most of the people prefer anti-lead over lead, you can aim the enemies as you see them on your screen without having to calculate where they would be in x seconds.

GunZ was never made with the intention for leading to exist. For example, in Korea (kgunz) they all had < 20 ping to each other effectively eliminating the need for leading your shots. Personally, I always preferred it over leading.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.

And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

10 years ago, anti-lead was amongst vast majority of server bare maybe 1 or 2... Anyways welcome back, just aim as you see them.

Nowadays only glad has lead just because it would be one person leading one way or the other - without antilead you lead normally, with it you have to lead blocks in order to recoil an enemy on their screen rather than yours, which is much less natural.
