if he can hack the server
i'm going to guess that he has enough skill to make himself an account.

He's doing something to the actual server instead of the client,

I don't belive he's connecting to the Client, but connecting directly to the server.

    What you could do,
is only allow connections from registered accounts

    as in

no one but a certain IP can connect to the VPS (or where ever it's hosted)
that way, the hacker/crasher couldn't actually crash the server

I don't know if this is actually possible, but it may be an idea

And that's what I'm already looking for, for a while already. I have no clue which program can do this.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

Is there a hosting program with the server?
    (cpanel or something like that)?

Parallels but you can only end processes, services and restart the container with it.

    That's very weird
Most of them include a IP ban program o.O

    From what i've read
there should be a firewall module installed, and that has the option to ban single ip adresses.

    Spoiler!

At least thats what he told me
What if that happens? Are we going to disable the register page forever?

disabling the register page will do NOTHING

If he's competent enough to make a hack, to bypass anti-hacks
    and crash the server
he'll be smart enough to either hi-jack someone's session and use their account
or he'll just make himself a character.

The only foreseeable way to stop him from crashing the sever
is to block his ip from accessing the server.
    If not
    he'll keep connecting.

I voted yes... I kinda have the same option as subwoofer.
    No newgen or no game.
    I prefer no newgen.

If the register page is opened then we will continue to be hacked and the newgens will probably quit because the server will always get shut on and off.
So I say keep it disabled.
