Yes but it wasn't riped off but more like revamped into its own game and that being said they have the ability to focus on improving it.

They only ties it had with Wc3 is the gfx and the program to make the map on wc3. LoL was completely made septate from wc3

LoL is a copy of Wc3, just like HoN.
And HoN looks even more like Wc3.
They might have the ability to improve it.. but so does Blizzard with Wc3.
All the fun maps for Wc3 turn it into a completely different game.

Its not a copy xD no matter what you say. It may have similarities but its a complete entity of its own.
